How do I know if I need an Image Consultant?
People hire image consultants for a numnber of reasons but there are some things that trigger the call more so than others, sometimes its a "WTF" feeling or sometimes it an event. More often than not, its a change in your lifestyle, career, body or goals. It can also be a matter of convenience or desire to look and feel better, a return to dating, weightloss or support in reaching career goals.
How do I select an Image Consultant?
One of the best ways to pick an image consultant is based on your goals, comfort and rapport and their level of expertise in a particular area. Like their clients, no two image consultants are alike. While an image consultant may be knowledgeable in all areas of image management, most specialize in a particular area, work with certain industries or genders. Look at the background and experience of the image consultant you are considering. Often times image consulting is a second career, what was their first? This will help you decide if you two are a good fit for each other.
Is it expensive to work with an Image Consultant?
For most, the investment you make with an image consultant is less than the investment you make for a decent suit. The right image consultant will not only help you save time and money, they will help you make it by giving you a strong foundation to create a competitive advantage. In my experience and according to my clients, they close more sales and experience more opportunity that effect their bottom line after we've worked together.
